Upgrading your coaching qualification

Coaches wishing to upgrade their coaching qualification should in the first instance contact the RCO (Education). Courses will be run when there is sufficient interest to make a course viable.

County coach

Level 2 coach

The Level 2 coach qualification provides the next step in coach training after the Level 1 qualification.
Level 2 coaches play a key role in coaching at a club level by;

The Level 2 course builds on top of the foundations laid by the Level 1 qualification.

All Lead Tutors need to have gained their Level 2 Awareness training, and obtain a Level 2 Registration disk before they register a course.

Level 1 coach

Level 1 is the entry Coaching Level in GNAS and is open to all GNAS members. Non members may also undertake this course for details please see the ArcheryGB Level 1 page

Community Sports Leader

This scheme is for use outside of a GNAS Club and is designed for people teaching archery in Activity Centres, Sports Centres, Scouts etc.
