August 2011 - Level 1 training course dates for course in the West

The West of Scotland

Level 1 Training Course. Registration number 11.L1.20:
A Level 1 coach training course will be held in the West Area and be based at the Milngavie and Bearsden Sports Club, Auchenhowie Rd in Milngavie.

4-February 2012 Induction Day
18-February-2012 Tuition Day 1
10-March-2012 Tuition Day 2
7-April-2012 Tuition Day 3
26-May-2011 Assessment

Attendance at all four weekends is compulsory.
The cost of the course based on eight candidates will be £200 per head. If less than six candidates apply for the course the cost will require to be adjusted.
Candidates are invited to indicate interest by contacting Pauline Ramsay - prams101 at gmail dot com by Monday 14th of November at which time those showing interest will be contacted with the final cost per candidate and arrangements for submitting the form and payment. At this point final commitment to the course will be required and the attached form and full payment must be received by 5th December 2011.

Level 1 training course dates announced

Plans are under way to have Level 1 courses run in each Area. Proposed dates are as follows :

Eastern Area
25-Sep-2010 Induction day
2-Oct-2010 Tuition Day 1
3-Oct-2010 Tuition Day 2
20-Nov-2010 Tuition Day 3
11-Dec-2010 Assessment

The location of the course has not yet been decided, but will be either the Grange, Polmont or Crieff, as there are a significant number of Crieff members who wish to take the qualification. Early indications are that the course costs will be in the region of £180 per person. Dependant on numbers, there may be more than one course organised.

Level 1 training course dates announced

A Level 1 coach training course will be held at Eastcote House Archery Centre near Hawick over the following weekends 27th March, 10th April, 24th April and the 8th May this will be followed by support in the candidates own club and assessments also in the candidates own club. Attendance at all four weekends is compulsory.

The cost of the course based on six candidates will be approximately £160. If less than six candidates apply for the course the cost will require to be adjusted.

Candidates are invited to indicate interest by submitting the attached form to Thomas Miller by Monday 16th March at which time those showing interest will be contacted with the final cost per candidate. At this point final commitment to the course will be required.

The Lead Tutor for the course will be Gwyn Jones (County Coach). Tutors for in club support will be appointed as required.
