The Club Leaders Network - Online Calls (CLN – ON) are an opportunity for club leaders, volunteers, and committee members to come together to connect, share ideas, discuss any challenges and plan for the season ahead.
Off the back of the Scottish Government's announcement to provide an additional £40 million of funding for sport for 2026/27 (view full announcement here), sportscotland is providing targeted funding to create opportunities to deliver greater impact, supporting individuals and communities where it matters most.
There are five parts to this funding (link to webpage here): Local Club Development Officer investment, Club Support Programme (CSP), Pathway Investment Fund, Growth & Innovation Fund and Summer of Sport.
With this in mind, we are running a series of calls which will focus on gaining feedback and consultation with club leaders and volunteers on the Club Support Programme (CSP). The aim is to discuss ways in which funding could go towards paid roles which will improve coaching, governance, sustainability, safety, and inclusion within club archery in Scotland.
The roles will build capacity within clubs, support - not replace - volunteers, and create sustainable structures that enable clubs to grow participation and better serve their communities.
The expected outcomes of the CSP are to have a clear impact on:
The growth of club membership.
Increased diversity of both participants and volunteers involved in club sport.
Improved member retention and the provision of sustained participation.
Stronger volunteer and workforce structures within clubs.
We are running a variety of sessions, see below:
