A one-of-a-kind event in the European archery calendar, the JVD Open combines different elements to make it the place to be for all archers. Shoot among the pros in this unique competition format, attend a seminar and get some tips to up your archery game, or visit the extensive tradefair and learn about the latest product releases directly from the manufacturer!
The tournament consists of three, 30-arrow rounds in a Vegas-inspired format, but with modified scoring. Compound archers shoot scoring 10 points for the inner and “recurve” ten, identical to a standard Vegas round, while recurve and barebow archers use a unique Kings of Archery system where the complete yellow zone gets you ten points and all other scoring zones follow standard WA scoring.
All competitors shoot the first two rounds (a total of 60 arrows) on Friday & Saturday. The 3rd and final qualification round (30 arrows) will be shot on Saturday evening & Sunday morning. All archers shoot in the same session number as to friday and saturday. Target assignment will be changed within the session and we will sort on class, division and score of the first 60 arrows placing all session archers with similar scores together on their final day of qualification.
