In celebration of National Lottery's 30th Birthday, Game Changers will recognise extraordinary people doing amazing things with National Lottery funding.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first National Lottery draw in 1994, the National Lottery are on the hunt to find 30 inspirational people who have achieved amazing things across the UK in the last 30 years, with the help of National Lottery funding.
Every week, National Lottery players raise over £30m for good causes the length and breadth of the UK. Hidden across the nation are thousands of people who have used that money to bring profound change, inspiration and joy to millions... and they need your help to find them!
They looking for 30 not-so-ordinary individuals who have done extraordinary things in the arts, heritage, sport and the community in the last 30 years. People who have tackled the issues that matter most, making the UK fairer, more inclusive and filled with creativity and opportunity. People who are making an impact in villages, towns and cities across the UK and are changing lives every day.
Who do you know who’s done something amazing? Perhaps you know somebody who has made the arts more inclusive, or who is striving to bring environmental change to your local area? Do you know somebody who has transformed an industry, a local sports club, or who’s contribution to their local community deserves to be recognised?
The winners will be celebrated in spectacular style this autumn, to mark 30 years of The National Lottery’s game changing impact on the country.
Nominations must be funded by The National Lottery or be associated with a project which has received National Lottery funding. If you are not sure, don’t worry! Nominate them anyway, and the team will check it out. Nominations close at midday on 17 June 2024.
