What a great day on Saturday at the Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Archery Championships
Well done to all the competitors and again big thanks to Perth Archery Club volunteers team, volunteers from other clubs for organising and delivering a great event in partnership with Perth & Kinross Disability Sport
Euan Murray from Scottish Archery was present on the event shared his reflections from another successful event:
''It always a highlight of the competition calendar the Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Archery Championships. Its great see competitors from across Scotland and of all abilities take part. The scores from classification were very close between many of the archers and setup what was to be an enthralling afternoon in the head-to-head matches. Weather even held out, with sunshine throughout and a steady temperature with a light breeze making it pleasant shooting conditions.
Of course we have got to thank the team who worked hard behind the scenes and on the day to ensure the event was a success. This includes the volunteer team led by Manuela at Perth Archery Club, Graeme Doig of Perth & Kinross Disability Sport, Adelle & Gareth Fleming of Lasswade Archery Club and all the other volunteers who chipped in with recording scores. We also had our Events & Competitions Coordinator Fiona Hirst who was on hand to help with any queries/advice and helping throughout''

We’ve had a fantastic day at our Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Archery Championships where we welcomed archers from across Scotland to Gannochy Sports Pavilion with Perth Archery Club, Scottish Disability Sport and Scottish Archery.
It was brilliant to see so many top class archers compete alongside archers of all abilities with some just starting their journey in the sport
Thanks to all the competitors, family and friends who came along to cheer on our archers and to Manuela, Iain and the wonderful team at Perth Archery club and wider archery community for their warm welcome and looking after us all throughout the day
