In the opening Scottish Student Sport Archery League match, with Heriot Watt University as host, student archers competed in what was a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Kelsey Hunt, Scottish Student Archery reflected on the day:

Well done to the volunteer team who organised and delivered a great opening match in the 2025/26 league!
Great to see representation across multiple student clubs.
Next up is League Match 2 which is split across two venues – Aberdeen and St Andrews.
