Back in July, the West of Scotland Archery Association held a successful training day, marking the first step toward developing an ongoing squad programme.
Following participant feedback, we’ve recognised that combining archers at different stages of their journey can present challenges. To ensure everyone gets the most value from these sessions, our next event will focus specifically on archers who are keen to start competing.
This session is ideal for those who have been shooting for several years at club level but have not yet taken part in competitions.
· Venue: Ayrshire Athletics Arena, Queen's Drive, Kilmarnock, KA1 3XF
· Date: Sunday, 23rd November 2025
· Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
· Cost: £15 per person
Payments should be made directly to the WoSAA account (details available on the registration form).The day will include:
· Coaching from Level 2 and Level 3 coaches
· Guidance on entering competitions and understanding record statuses
· Advice on which events are best for archers beginning their competitive journey
To ensure a high-quality experience, places are limited to 20 archers. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
