The Scottish Archery Association Coaching Group is part of the Scottish Archery Association and of the Grand National Archery Society Coaching Organisation. We provide coaching for archers at every level within the SAA as well as a training and development structure for archery coaches. We also provide training in teaching archery for those outwith the sport through the "Community Sport Leader Award.

Our Mission Statement

The Grand National Archery Society's Coaching Organisation will provide World Class Coaching to all members of The Grand National Archery Society

Level 1 Coaching Course, Central Scotland

A level 1 course is taking place at Grange Community Centre (FK2 OAA). Course administrator is Josie Herd

Dates: Day 1: 22/09/13, Day 2: 12/10/13, Day 3: 13/10/13, Assessment date: 01/02/14. Booking forms can be downloaded here and returned by email to Josie Herd

Closing Date: 9th August, 2013

Coaching Scotland 2011-2015

sportscotland have recently published their framework for sports coaching in Scotland. The framework "is intended to help sportscotland and our key partners create more and better coaches in Scotland and outlines a commitment to partnership working and the outcomes required to ensure there are more and better coaches delivering through Scottish sport.
