STUDENT archery

Student Archery brings together high performing individuals, as well as a large number of novice and intermediate archers, from across Scotland and the UK.

The Archery programme offers something for everyone, from our Indoor and Outdoor Championships, Head-To-Head Competitions, the Archery League and several opportunities to socialise with fellow Archers.

​

Scottish Student Sport (SSS) lead on the organisation, support and development of student archery through the Scottish Student Archery (SSA) Development Group which is made up a passionate and dedicated group of volunteers.

​

SSA run the Student Competition Calendar in Scotland, which consists of usually 5 League Matches, and Indoor & Outdoor Championships and Head to Heads. You can find out more at the link below.

Many students competing both the novice and experienced archery categories compete in British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions including occasionally student clubs in Scotland hosting the BUCS Northern Area Qualifier.

​

Student archery clubs in Scotland are required to affiliate with both Scottish Archery and Archery GB (AGB).
