2027 World Anti-Doping Code

A new version of the World Anti-Doping Code (the Code) and its International Standards will take effect from 1 January 2027.

It is essential that athletes and their support network understand these changes to stay compliant with the rules.

The changes have been shaped by athletes and the international sporting community, and focus particularly on procedural fairness and athlete welfare.

In addition, the 2027 Prohibited List has been released by WADA and will come into effect on 1 January 2027.
