Congratulations to Craig Paterson of St Cuthbert Archery Club who won Inclusive Coach of the Year at the 2025 South Ayrshire Sports Awards.
Craig is a founding member of Prestwick St Cuthbert Archery Club whose passion, creativity, and compassion have transformed opportunities for archers of all ages and abilities.
Despite living with his own disability, Craig has never let challenges hold him back — instead, he uses his lived experience to break down barriers and ensure everyone feels welcome.
From adapting equipment and developing a mouth release aid for a junior participant, to leading inclusive sessions for neurodivergent children and the LGBTQIA+ community, Craig embodies the true spirit of inclusion. His innovative coaching and person-centred approach make archery accessible, safe, and inspiring for all.
Craig is more than a coach — he is a role model, advocate, and enabler. We are proud to celebrate his outstanding contribution to inclusive sport.
