Perth & Kinross Disability Sport, in partnership with Perth Archery Club, Scottish Archery and Scottish Disability Sport are delighted to invite entries from across Scotland to our Fair City Games 2026 Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Archery Championships.
The Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Fair City Games include a series of Sports events for people with disabilities to get involved in throughout the year - these include Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Boccia, Lawn Bowls, Curling, Table Tennis, SOMA, Wheelchair Basketball and Swimming.
We’re committed to our No Cost Participation approach which sees our weekly sessions, development and competitive events, education courses and programs delivered at no cost to the participant.
There is no cost to participate in this event.
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:
Any person with a disability who has been in regular training or interested in getting involved in the sport. All are welcome. It is requested that young people under 16 be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
Anyone under a sanction or suspension within their sport should not enter this event.
FORMAT:
All entrants will shoot a 9-arrow classification shoot to give them a score between 0 and 90, they will then be grouped into groups depending on that score for pool matches. There will be separate competitions for those using Recurve and Compound bows.
EQUIPMENT:
Perth Archery Club have a range of bows for use on the day of competition to allow those without equipment the opportunity to shoot. It is very important that you notify us should you need to borrow equipment. You can do this on the entry form.
SCHEDULE:
Registration will open at 10.00am with practice on the range available from 10.30am. The schedule and draw will depend on the number of entries and will be completed one week before the event.  All entrants should be available and ready to shoot at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

POOLS
Each pool will be grouped by Archery ability going by the classification shoot, with separate competitions for those using Recurve and Compound bows.
Pool matches will follow the same format as the Scottish Disability Sport National Archery Championships with every arrow counting towards the final total within the pool.
The number of arrows shot will depend on entries.
The winner in each pool will be crowned Champion with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded.
Perth & Kinross Disability Sport will expect all competitors, team support, spectators, coaches and officials to adhere to the Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Code of Conduct which is attached at the bottom of the entry form.
