Scottish Archery and Scottish Fencing delivered a two day Club & Coach Conference at the Stirling Court Hotel, part of University of Stirling. We had around 40 attendees across the two days from both sports along with staff from Horse Scotland.
The aim of the conference was to offer coaches, club volunteers and sports enthusiasts the opportunity to come together to learn, share ideas, network, feel inspired and more knowledgeable & confident across various topics. There was significant value in this approach and looking forward to welcoming and bringing people together again for future events.
There were two primary methods of evaluation used to gauge attendees views on the conference. The first was an interactive method called Mentimeter. It is designed to use technology to gather information right there and then from the audience in the room.
The second method was using JotForm to compose a survey that was sent round post conference. This was to make it simple and really easy to complete, making it is interactive as possible, while also providing people with the option to comment and provide further feedback for any & all areas.
On the day, there were some post it notes and flipcharts used, some of the key information from any of this method used have been shared where relevant.
