New Board Directors

We are delighted to share board updates with members. Sarah Levy will join the board as Director of Safeguarding following ratification by members at the AGM on Saturday. Gary Grieve will also continue in the position of  Director of Development on the board following ratification at the AGM.

We also have some additional good news. Members Ainsley Ward and Moira Taylor will be joining the Board as co-opted Directors. Moira will be returning to the board in the role of Director of Equality, and Ainsley will be a Member Board Director. Both Directors will bring a range of skills, expertise and experience that will ensure we continue to work towards our strategic objectives.

Unfortunately there was not enough time ahead of the AGM to fulfil our requirements for ratification of Moira and Ainsley by our membership. This means we will likely have an EGM early to middle of next year to ratify co-opted Board Directors.

Director portfolios will be reviewed shortly as we approach the mid-way point of our strategy ‘Building Archery Communities’. As well as ensuring we have effective leadership from the board, this will also provide an opportunity to highlight any skills gaps and explore new avenues to develop archery across Scotland.
