New Membership System Launch

In line with our strategic plan and governance targets from sportscotland we are pleased to be officially launching our partnership with Just Go so we have an online membership system.

Just Go currently work with a large number of Scottish Governing Bodies and understand the sporting landscape here in Scotland. Scottish Archery recognises the need to have robust data and also to support our clubs and areas to manage memberships as simply as possible.

Thank you to everyone that has already been involved in the process. Starting all the way back at the engagement sessions prior to the current strategy being developed and the road shows last year. We then carried out a survey with club admins and from there we formed a working group of clubs keen to support the development of the system by testing it out and providing really useful feedback.

Finally we are now at the stage of offering online sessions for all club admins to access so they can see how the system works ahead of being given live access. There is another session for club admins coming up on 25th July and we would encourage any club admins that didn't attend the previous session to attend this one.

If any club is still unsure then the development team are happy to offer further support where required.

The current aim is to allow club admins access to the system from the end of July. This will allow the admins to make sure all the club info is there before the system is opened for all members to access in early September ahead of renewals.

There will be online workshops for members on how to use the system in August, so please keep an eye open for these.

Lastly we would like to thank Kathleen Male who has been our membership secretary for 11 years! She has put in countless hours of her time and ensured that the organisation continues to function effectively, we really can't express how much we value her contribution over the years.
