Youth Festival Day 2

Day Two Tuesday 1st August 2023

Day Two started with the Mixed Teams Tier 2 and 3 matches. A superb performance by both compound and recurve archers. This was followed by Tier 1 matches, Team matches and finally the Home Nations competition. A breakdown of results can be found below:

Finlay Clark qualified for the gold medal match on the finals field on Thursday.

Recurve U21 Mixed (RU21X) – Tier 1

Luke Wheeler won Bronze to be awarded on later in the week along with the gold medal matches still to happen on Thursday.

Recurve U18 Mixed (RU18X) – Tier 1

Lucy Coutts won Bronze to be awarded later in the week along with the gold medal matches still to happen on Thursday.

Team Eliminations

Recurve U21 Men Team (RU21M)

Joshua Phillips and Shay Boyd’s team will shoot for Gold against teammate Luke Wheeler’s team on Thursday at the Orangery.

Recurve U21 Women Team (RU21W)

Hannah Wells’ team also qualified to shoot for Gold at the Orangery on Thursday.

Recurve U21 Men Team (RU21M)

Artur Pacut’s team won Bronze to be awarded later in the week along with the gold medal matches still to happen on Thursday.

Recurve U21 Women Team (RU21W)

Kathleen Morgan won Bronze to be awarded later in the week along with the gold medal matches still to happen on Thursday.

Recurve U18 Women Team (RU18W)

Lucy Coutts won Bronze to be awarded later in the week along with the gold medal matches still to happen on Thursday.

Compound Youth Men Team (CYM)

Finlay Clark qualified for the gold medal match on Thursday.

Barebow Youth Women Team (BYW)

Connie Clinch has also qualified for the gold medal match on Thursday.

The highest qualified archers pre-selected to represent their country in the Commonwealth Championships of Europe all received a certificate to celebrate their success. The following Scotland team members received a Commonwealth Championship certificate:
