Coming to Scotland for the first time on the 1st June 2024 is a leg of the prestigious Archery GB Junior Archery Series! The Junior Archery Series (JAS) is a five stage youth competition that is quickly growing into one of the biggest UK Youth tournaments. Are you a junior who is looking to further your archery? This event is the perfect addition to the calendar of juniors who are on, or aiming for, NTDP and Pathway squads, as well as those working towards one day making the GB team.
The event, which will be run alongside the annual West of Scotland Outdoor Open Target Championships on the 2nd June 2024 attracts the best young archers from across the UK to compete to claim the Scottish Leg while attempting to qualify for the Series Final at the UK Junior Masters. The juniors will be joined by a host of other archers on the Sunday, each looking to claim the West of Scotland and Open outdoor titles.
This exciting tournament is being run to World Record Status meaning that there is an opportunity for a wide range of records to be claimed. We are also privileged to have a number of Team Scotland and Archery GB archers joining us at this event hosted at the Riverside Sports Arena. This a £8.5 million state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sporting facility which was officially opened in February 2023 by South Ayrshire Council.
Credit to the West of Scotland Archery Association for all their hard work and effort to bring this event to Scotland.
Entries open on the 29th February and for more information on the Junior Archery Series (JAS), click here.
