Community, Celebration and Joy: 2026 Annual Awards Ceremony

31 Mar 2026

The first Scottish Archery Annual Awards Ceremony proved to be a success this year, bringing together athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for an evening of celebration and recognition.

Held in a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere, the event showcased the very best of the community, honouring those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, performance, and commitment over the past year and beyond. From emerging talents to seasoned competitors and dedicated volunteers, award winners reflected the depth of passion and hard work across all levels.

The ceremony not only highlighted individual excellence but also recognised the collective effort behind the scenes. Volunteers, officials, and organisers were praised for their invaluable contributions, ensuring another successful year both on and off the field.

One of the standout aspects of the evening was the strong sense of unity and pride shared by everyone in attendance. The event served as a reminder of how far the organisation has come, while also looking ahead to an exciting future.

Lord Lieutenant for Falkirk and Stirling area, Charlie Wallace had this to say about the event:

“What a tremendous evening it was last night! Thank you very much indeed for allowing

me to be part of such a wonderful community event. It was great to see the volunteers

and talented sportspeople being celebrated in such a fashion. I was very much left

with the impression that Scottish Archery is in good hands: it is vibrant, engaging and so

community-focused - something that in this day and age is just so important. I felt very honoured to have presented the Community Club of the Year award to Mull and Iona Archers.”

A huge well done to all the winners on the evening.
