Competition Bidding Opportunity for Clubs

Scottish Archery invites all affiliated clubs to submit bids to host any of the Tour Stages and Championship Competitions listed below. The events are divided into two categories: Scottish Tour Stages and Championship Competitions. Clubs bidding for Scottish Tour Stages and Championship Competitions are committing for two consecutive years.

Hosting a Scottish Tour stage or Championship competition is a fantastic opportunity for your Club to be at the heart of Scottish Archery’s calendar. Tour stages take place over two days and are organised by Scottish Archery, but host Clubs can boost their funds by providing catering, running raffles, and showcasing their facilities to archers from across the country.

Championship Competitions offer even greater flexibility. These are stand-alone, one-day events (Saturday) organised by Scottish Archery with the venue being provided by a Club. Clubs have the option to run your own event on the Sunday, maximising participation and fundraising opportunities. Clubs can propose dates that best suit their calendar.

In addition, Scottish Archery can support your Club by facilitating Tournament Organiser and Field Party training, helping your members develop valuable skills and experience in event delivery. Hosting an event is a great way to raise your Club’s profile, engage your membership, and contribute to the growth of archery in Scotland.

Scottish Archery is continuously working to enhance the quality and experience of all events and competitions, actively listening to feedback from members, Clubs, and Officials. All funds raised through these events are reinvested directly into the sport - supporting the development of Judges, improving future competitions, upgrading equipment, and providing training opportunities for volunteers and Tournament Organisers. Every event helps strengthen the archery community and ensure a vibrant future for the sport in Scotland.
