West of Scotland

‘The Barebow Team shot strong and matched their team placement from last year finishing in 9th

In the Barebow mixed doubles, Freya and Bryan got all the way to the bronze medal match and placed 4th’

It was a hard fought 9th place finish for the Recurve Women’s team which included Jonah McArthur, Oksana Peterson and Emily Tilbury. After initially beating Cheshire 6-2, Lancashire managed to beat the team in the next round.

For the Men’s Recurve team of Antonios Katris, Euan Oglivie and Andy Owen, it was a strong line up they faced and finished 17th. Great effort by the team who just lost out to Durham & Northumberland in opening round of H2Hs.

There were some solid performances in the Mixed Team Recurve categories. Jonah McArthur and Andy Owen teamed up and progressed all the way to the quarter finals and narrowly losing out in a shoot off 17-16.

A great effort and results from all the archers - your areas will be proud!
