The Eastern Area held a coaching day on Sunday which was a great success with lots of learning taking place and finished off with a fun competition. The "Eastern Area" is one of three associations that run Target Archery in Scotland, at a more local level than the SAA. Their mission is to support Archery at all levels, within the East of Scotland.
The purpose of the session was to provide archers with a chance to connect with other archers and receive support on improving their own performance.
Some of the feedback from participants included:
‘‘Enjoyed today. Learned how to use he jig and how to set p my string. Thank you.''
‘‘Came with 3 points to correct. Corrected all 3 plus so much more. Huge thank you to Falkirk and the Coaches’’
‘‘Very helpful tuning advice; I also got a few form points which I will work on in the next few months. Thank you’’

‘‘Really enjoyed the day. Full of information, knowledgeable coaching, improved & taking things away to practice on. Loved it!’’
Great job by the Eastern Area on organising and delivering this session – lots of positive feedback which archers attending will now be able to take what they have learned and put into practice at their club.
