The East Of Scotland Archery - "The Eastern Area" Committee is inviting applications from archers to join the Eastern Area Squad for 2026.
What is the Area Squad?
The squad is designed to support and develop archers within the Eastern Area, helping them progress towards potential selection for the Scottish National Squad.
Who can apply?
You’re eligible if you:
• Are affiliated to the Eastern Area
• Achieved at least 2nd Class Bowman (or higher) during the 2025 outdoor season
• Are not currently part of a National Squad
How does it work?
• A single squad of up to 16 archers will be selected
• We aim for a balanced mix across all 4 bow styles and Female/Open categories (depending on applications)
• The highest-ranked archer in each bow style will automatically be selected
• Squad members will receive priority selection for Area Team events (subject to criteria)
