Entries are now open for the 2026 Northern Area Indoor Championships on Deveron Community and Sports Centre 8th March.
This is a UKRS (UK Record Status) competition which means rounds shot are Archery GB Portsmouths. Also, at these events you have the opportunity to shoot National Records.
Recurve, Barebow and Longbow competitors will shot on a 60cm full face with Compound on a 60cm triple spot. Recurve, Barebow and Longbow archers may request a triple spot when entering
All who place in 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive medals, irrespective of how many are in a category. If you are shooting both sessions, your first score only counts towards the championship unless you change bow style. Novice archers are those within their first year of shooting.
This event is organised by the Northern Area Archery Association who represent Scottish Archery in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Highland, Moray, Orkney, Shetland and Western Isles. They elect their own officers and committee, to hold Area championships, coaching days, squad sessions and various other events. You can find out more about the three Areas here.
