Erik into Bronze Medal Match at European Grand Prix

Congratulations to Scottish Team member Erik Rowbotham on reaching the Bronze medal match in the 2025 European Grand Prix 2nd Leg in Arnhem.

Erik will face off against fellow Brit Patrick Huston at 14:44 GMT for the Bronze medal.

After ranking 32nd in the qualification round Erik won his first H2H against Denmark then faced first placed qualifier Mathias Kramer of Germany. This went on a one arrow shoot-off, with both archers shooting a nine. But not all nines are equal and Erik progressed to the next round earning himself the name Erik the Giant Killer.

We would also like to recognise the other Scottish archers competing. Shay Boyd representing Team GB for the first time ranked a respectable 17th and Cameron Radigan also representing Team GB for the first time in an able bodied competition also ranked 17th. Ru Barlow being the only GB compound archer competing in the competition also ranked 17th.
