A team of British archers took to the field to compete in the World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany this summer.
Huge well done to the British Team who competed and lots of success which includes Elaine Zanjani & John Ritchie of Monklands Archery Club. Both archers took gold in their respective categories and bronze in the team event – congratulations.
Athletes and teams from 51 countries were here for a week of competition and camaraderie.
From 17 – 24 August, athletes competed in 17 different sports – and all events and competitions were completely free to attend!Â
