24 Jul 2026
The selection process for this year’s Home Nations Cup, being held in Stirling on 15/16th August, concluded on Monday 20th July and, following review by the selection panel, we are proud to announce the Scotland team that will represent us on home turf for the first time since 2022.
Across the board there has been an uptick in the performance of our competitive archers, and with a growing pool of archers seeking selection we had applicants from ages 16 to 60 performing at the highest levels.
The squad, sponsored by BB7, will compete in our new Lionhart shirt complete with the newly-commissioned Scottish Archery tartan and shirt sponsors JustGo and CGI against the first four nation competition in a number of years. With full delegations from Wales and Northern Ireland, and the England wildcat team, we are set for a great two days of archery.
Scotland Team Manager, Ainsley Ward, said, “We’ve got an fantastic venue in Stirling, home to some great Scottish victories. Our team features World Class athletes, a Paralympic gold medallist, some amazing young people transitioning from U21 level, and archers that came into the sport only a short time ago. With the support of team captain, Robyn Geddes, and our national coaches, we’ve made a lot of progress since last year – I look forward to a performance to match the location!”
Spectators are very welcome to attend the event at the University of Stirling and cheering for our Scottish archers during team matches is strongly encouraged. Saturday qualifiers are followed by Head-to-Head competitions on the Sunday and then presentation of medals and the Home Nations Cup.
Your 2026 Scotland Team for the Home Nations Cup – Outdoors:

Congratulations to all of the selected archers and thanks to all of those that applied for selection.
As part of increased transparency on selection, the table below shows all of the applicants and their average score across those submitted. There will be another chance to gain a place in the Scotland Team in the Autumn as we put together a representative for the Home Nations Cup - Indoors, which will be held during the Archery GB National Indoor Championships at the NAEC Stoneleigh on Friday 4th December, with live streaming on YouTube.
Prospective archers are advised that this process will be based on WA18 scores accumulated during 2026 with a submission date in early October.
