Well done to all athletes who travelled down to Coventry to represent Scotland as part of the Home Nations event in the Junior National Indoor Championships. It was a long day with three sessions of shooting meaning that there were no head to heads and ranking was entirely based on qualification score.
Many of our archers shot in both the senior and junior days, but we also had many archers representing Scotland at the Indoor Championships for their first time. This included Sarah MacLeod, Tyler West, Rebecca Bradshaw, Ellis White, William Anderson and Kaitlyn Mason.
A total of 5 individual medals were achieved along with 2 team medals in the Home Nations event and Bronze overall within the Home Nations.
The Home Nations teams were as follows:
Recurve – Josh Phillips, Luke Wheeler, Eleanor Macdonald and Kristin Ward.
Compound – Ellis White, Izzy Killin, Molly Joyce and Olivia Kendal.
Barebow – William Anderson and Kaitlyn Mason.
A huge well done to all archers who participated in the event and thank you to all the support team, parents and guardians and to Archery GB for hosting the event.

Finlay Clark, compound Scotland U21 archer, took part in the T.R.U Ball Axcell Back 2 Back event this year at the event and shot very well to make his way through to the final, finishing in 5th place. It was also good to see Keith Radigan back with the squad as well.
