Inclusive Spirit Shines at Fair City Games Archery Championships

19 May 2026

We had a fantastic day at the Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Fair City Games Archery Championships where we welcomed archers from across Scotland to Gannochy Sports Pavilion with Perth Archery Club, Perth & Kinross Disability Sport and Scottish Archery.  Despite brief spells of light rain, the conditions remained mostly dry, allowing for excellent shooting. It was brilliant to see so many top class archers compete alongside archers of all abilities with some just starting their journey in the sport.

Organisers extended their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated network of family, friends, and spectators who filled the pavilion to cheer on the competitors. Special recognition was also given to Manuela, Bill, and the volunteer team at Perth Archery Club, whose exceptional hospitality ensured a warm, smooth, and welcoming experience for all visiting clubs. Also shoutout to the wider volunteer team with many travelled far and wide to come and support the event.

With thanks to QTS North who proudly sponsor all the Fair City Games Events. The event was made possible through the generous, ongoing headline sponsorship of QTS North, who proudly support all sporting events under the Fair City Games banner. Martin Hodge from QTS was on hand throughout the day to meet the athletes and officially present the trophies and medals to the newly crowned champions.

Congratulations to all the winners and medallists across the day.
