Judging Success in July

July has been a very busy month for our judging team.

We are fortunate to have had an influx of candidate judges training throughout this past year. July has been exceptionally busy and rewarding for the judging team, with three judges passing their assessments.

Kirsty Jackson was the first, passing her practical on day 1 of the Northern Area Championships. Kirsty has been an archer in the past for both target and field as well as part of the Field of Play team for the Island games in Orkney 2025. She can now add County Judge to her list of accolades.

The following day it was the turn of Mike Alexander who was sitting his Regional practical assessment after passing his written exam earlier in the year. Mike is an experienced archer who has competed internationally and found podium success in the 50+ category.

Megan Ross was the third judging success for July. At the Tour stage 2 Megan was assessed by Frank Schallmoser. Megan, wife of compounder James, has successfully become a County level Judge and we look forward to seeing her at the competitions.
