We are thrilled to announce a dedicated weekend of training, discussion, and development for our valued Scottish Archery Judges and Field Captains, delivered in partnership with Archery GB. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with peers across all Judging levels.
The weekend will be packed with tailored content, practical seminars, and the chance to take theory exams for those progressing through Judging or Field Captain pathways. While a full agenda will be provided by Archery GB closer to the date, here’s a sneak peek at the structure:
Saturday (Judges and Field Captains):
Morning
• Field Captain & Candidate to County Judge Seminars
• Regional-specific topics
Afternoon
• Group seminar session – “What If’s” scenarios
• Candidate Judge ➝ County Judge test opportunities
• Field Captains wishing to sit their paper exam
Sunday (Judges Only):
• Continued Regional-level seminars (including Matchplay topics)
• More “What If’s” with a Regional focus
• Opportunity to sit the Regional Paper Exam
Each day will conclude with a focused Q&A session (max. 1 hour) – so bring your questions and insights!
