New Club Mapping Tool launched!

25 Aug 2025

We are delighted today to launch our  new Club Mapping Tool (CMT).

The CMT is a key output from our 2025-29 Supporting our Archery Community Strategic Plan which was developed and co-designed with our members – thanks again to everyone involved in those sessions.

The Club Mapping Tool is a reflection and development tool to support clubs to grow,  become more, connected and sustainable, whilst focusing on key governance essentials.  The areas included in the tracker range from Safeguarding & Wellbeing, Finance and Disability Inclusion to Community, Communications and Partnerships.

Clubs can work with us, or on their own, with the aim of identifying a baseline for their club, and areas the club can develop or enhance further for the future.

Also, the tracker can be used to help to prepare your club to begin the process of creating a development plan.

Lyndsay Noon or CEO shared her thoughts on the new programme:

“The Club Mapping Tool has been developed in consultation with clubs and is a fantastic resource that aims to support our member clubs to further enhance the work they are doing within their communities. The CMT will provide guidance on essential areas for club development, and we hope that many of our clubs utilise the resource. Our Club and Coaching Development Officer Euan will be on hand to support clubs through the process”
