New Judge and Tournament Organiser in Northern Area

2 Jul 2025

Congratulations to both Kirsty Elliot and Sam Topping who have both taken up officiating roles.

Kirsty has become a qualified Archery GB Candidate Judge and Sam is now a Tournament Organiser for the Northern Area.

Being an archery official is an excellent way for our members to take an active part in the archery community, whether you are still shooting, taking a break from shooting, or are no longer shooting.

Also, there are many reasons why you may want to get involved in officiating, for example:

  • Interest and enthusiasm for being involved in the sport

  • The challenge and excitement offered by officiating

  • Giving back to archery and making a difference

  • Staying active and keeping in shape

  • Learning and improving leadership skills and self-confidence

  • Sharing a common interest

  • Meeting new friends and having fun!

Well done to both of you!
