We are delighted to be running our next Athlete & Coach Development Webinar on Monday 24th August, 18:30-20:00 on Zoom. The topic is Nutrition Coaching and will be delivered by Jackie Wilkinson, ex-international archer, scientist and nutritionist.
Background
When you consider your archery performance, how much influence do you credit to food and drink? Good concentration, stable mood, sustained energy and robust health are all affected by what goes into our mouths.
You might eat a diet considered very healthy by current thinking; low in fat with lots of fruit and veg., but still suffer energy, health, weight and concentration problems. When we watch other sports, we expect the performance of athletes to be linked to diet. Actually, it's the same for archers too.
Former scientist and ex-international archer, Jackie Wilkinson, will blow some of your preconceptions and talk about real food. Her own life was dramatically changed by learning to eat well. Find out how you can do the same.
