Some of the championships occur at the same time so are the same round, you need to decide which category you want to enter for each of the championships, you cannot be in both at the same time.

The intention is that there should be at least one championship for every archer to take part in.

We encourage archers to enter as many rounds as possible as this gives the opportunity to:

  • Achieve selection scores for squads and events where you will be able to represent your country.

  • Demonstrate your commitment to competitive archery and gain experience

  • Obtain Scottish Archery indoor ranking scores

  • Obtain Archery GB classification scores

  • Challenge yourself, while in a controlled environment. Competition PB’s are the ones to have.

  • Meetup with friends and form new friendships

  • Partake in the enjoyment of archery

Everyone can take part in each competition, its nice to have a full hall buzzing with lots of archers, awards will be based on the definition in the following section, but remember its not always about winning.

The event staff has worked hard to try and make this as enjoyable and rewarding a weekend as possible. While it may not meet everyone's expectations, desires or wishes please remember a lot of people have given up their time to make it happen and any comment or criticism should be done respectfully.
