Ready Steady Shoot Festival No.2 - Next stop is Glamis Castle

What a great day we had in Stirling for our first Ready Steady Shoot Festival alongside the 2026 Home Nations Cup. Big thank you to all those who made it along and to the volunteer team at Wee County Archers. You can see everyone had a great time and rocking the Scottish Archery sunglasses which was part of the goody bags.


Next stop is Glamis Castle. Join us at our second Ready, Steady, Shoot Festival on Sunday 19 September, from 10am to 12pm at the Glamis Castle, alongside out 2026 Scottish Tour Finals!

This free festival gives young people and families the chance to experience archery in a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment.



Whether you've never picked up a bow before or are simply curious about the sport, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go!

The festival is designed to help participants build confidence and enjoy early success, while also supporting volunteers with resources to help bring archery opportunities into local communities.

What is Ready Steady Shoot?


Ready Steady Shoot (RSS) is our new national participation programme that aims to encourage more people to take part in archery thorough soft archery.
