Another great weekend was had by all . Again, thank you to the field party . Without your help these events would not run as smoothly. Your help as always was greatly appreciated. 

Saturday was the Compound and Barebow day. Numbers were down a little but that did not deter from the buzz of archers going for their final chance to qualify for the finals. The weather played fair for the majority of the day with only a couple of very light drizzle showers. 

Well done to Max Gordon who was shooting as a space filler and achieved his six gold end and also to William Anderson who (subject to ratification) shot a new Scottish Record! William is certainly on fire this season and has had some great successes.

Sunday was the Recurve and Longbow day.  No rain today ! Qualification started and like the previous day , records were broken . This time it was the turn of Longbow archer Steven Coull  - another Scottish record (subject to ratification).

When it comes to the Head to Heads  - anything can happen . One archer, Frank Dolan quickly dismissed himself after seeing who his first opponent was. However, after a very tight match and a 1 arrow shoot off, Frank went through to the second round. Well done Frank !

Throughout the weekend there was a great atmosphere with competitors staying around to cheer each other on.

It has been a pleasure to run stages 1,3 and 4 and I am very much looking forward to the finals.
