Scottish Archery is delighted to see the positive impact of continued investment in events and competitions across Scotland, with growing participation and engagement demonstrating the value of supporting opportunities for archers at every level of the sport.
Over the past year, increased focus on delivering and supporting competitions has helped strengthen pathways for athletes, create more opportunities for clubs and volunteers, and enhance the overall experience for members across the archery community.
Building on this success, Scottish Archery has also secured additional funding from Sportscotland through increased investment from Scottish government into sport. This funding has been directed towards increasing staffing hours within the team and helping make the Events role more sustainable and permanent for the future. As such, we are delighted to now be recruiting for a part-time Events and Workforce Co-ordinator.
The additional capacity will allow Scottish Archery to continue developing competitions and events for everyone in our community, improve support for members and clubs, and build on the momentum already being seen throughout the sport.
