Home Nations 2023 Selection Criteria

Scottish Archery are looking for archers attending the British Target Championships that want to be part of the Scottish team for the home nations element. This event sits against our representative strand.

The closing date for submitted scores is 12 noon on Thursday 6th July with an announcement expected soon after. Archers must ensure that they have a place at the British Target Champs prior to submitting scores.

Team

Places will only be offered to those that have a place at the event, this may result in sending a part team.

Scores

Three WA720 scores should be submitted; at least 2 of these should be from record status competitions that have taken place in 2023 and 1 may be taken from record status competitions in 2022.

Process

After online submission of scores, the archers with the highest average 3 scores will form the representative Scottish team. In the event of a tie only the scores from 2023 will be considered followed by the highest score achieved and if there is still a tie finally rankings will be considered.
