We are delighted to share some exciting news with our members about upcoming changes within our team.
Following a successful recruitment process, our current Events and Competitions Coordinator, Fiona Hirst, has been appointed as full-time Pathway Lead. This is a fantastic achievement, and a well-deserved recognition of the skills, experience and dedication Fiona has brought to her current role. Fiona will lead on pathway and performance programmes, officials development, events and competitions, and area support. We very much look forward to having Fiona begin in her new position, with a start date of 2nd November.
As part of this positive transition, our current Club and Coaching Development Officer, Euan Murray, will take on the leadership role for the development team. This will help build on the great work already underway across club, coaching and pathway development, while continuing to provide support and consistency for our members, clubs and partners.
We warmly congratulate Fiona and Euan on their new responsibilities and look forward to seeing the continued impact of their leadership, passion and commitment in supporting the growth and development of our archery.
Following a successful application to sportscotland for additional funding to support the development of the pathway and performance programme, we are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a National Coach.
