Club support

At Scottish Archery, we are fully supportive of clubs who provide access to participate in archery for people in their local community to enjoy regular, inclusive and quality opportunities to encourage those to remain lifelong in the sport.

Check out below support we aim to provide through our Club Mapping Tool, Club Development Webinars, Club Leader Network - Online Calls and Club & Area Support Hub.

Club Mapping Tool

The Club Mapping Tool is a reflection and development tool to support clubs to grow and become more organised, connected and sustainable.

Clubs can work with us, or on their own, with the aim of identifying where the club is at and what the club can develop or enhance further.

The tracker can be used to help to prepare your club to begin the process of creating a development plan.  Feel free to use the Club & Area Support Hub below to support this process.

Club Leaders Network - Online Calls

The Club Leaders Network - Online Calls are an opportunity for club leaders, volunteers, committee members to come together to connect, share ideas, discuss any challenges and plan for the season ahead.

Also it is a chance to speak to members of our Club Support Subgroup and find out about key updates and plans for the future.

Further this, it provides us with the opportunity to share findings from Survey, new projects/developments and discuss any potential areas of support for clubs moving forward.

Club & AREA Support Hub

We have developed the Club & Area Support Hub which is underpinned by sportscotland's Clubs & Communities Framework, and supported by sportscotland's Help for Clubs to provide clubs and areas with various templates and guidance documents which we hope will benefit your club or area to grow and become more person-centred, organised and sustainable.

Archery GB through their OnTarget programme provide support and resources through Buddle which includes Learning & Support Resources and Tools including club Health Check.

Of course we are always happy to share ideas/learning, so if you have anything you would like to add below please let us know.
